Windows 9x Dial-Up Instructions

1.Double-left-click on My Computer in the upper left-hand corner
2.Double-left-click on Dial-Up Networking
3.Double-left-click on Make New Connection
4.Where it asks for a name of the computer you're dialing, type in Odynet
5.Left-click Next
6.Enter in the phone number for your area
488-4321 - London (and area)
262-1112 - Hensell / Clinton Area
482-3008 - Goderich / Wingham Area
7.Left-click Next
8.Left-click Finish
9.Right-click on the new Odynet icon
10.Left-click on Properties
11.There will be a checkbox by a line that says 'Use country code and area code' or 'Use area code and dialing properties'. Uncheck this box.
12.Left-click on the Server Types tab.
13.There will be a number of checkboxes on this tab. Uncheck all checkboxes except for the very last one that reads TCP/IP.
14.Left-click on the TCP/IP Settings button.
15.On this window, the top section should be set to Server Assigned IP Address, the next section should be set to Server Assigned Name Server Addresses, and the bottom two checkboxes should be checked.
16.Left-click on OK, then left-click on OK again.

1.Double-left-click on My Computer in the upper left-hand corner
2.Double-left-click on Control Panel
3.Double-left-click on Dial-Up Networking
4.Double-left-click on Make New Connection
5.Where it asks for a name of the computer you're dialing, type in Odynet
6.Left-click Next
7.Enter in the phone number for your area

10.Right-click on the new Odynet icon
